Remote Assistance in Windows XP with SP1 works just fine in our environment. I had already allowed all of the exceptions through the firewall. In our case none of the suggestions seemed to work. Hello Everyone First of all I would like to thank everyone who has worked on this and came up with a possible solution. Any help someone could give me would be greatly appreciated. I have called linksys about 15 times and each time they run me through a series of tests (changing the channel, blah, blah, blah) and each time I have to hard wire my computer and it will let me back on for a while. I can almost always connect to theirs and stay connected. Building and there are others on wireless networks as well. Then it will kick me off and say there is no available wireless network to connect to. However, when I connect to the internet it lasts variable amounts of time. I have a wireless linksys router set up too. I recently reformatted my hard drive and re-installed xp. I am having issues with my network connection.
